The Ad Network arena is a very crowded place, excluding the fringe players the number of ad networks seems to grow, despite some recent industry consolidations. Ad networks still number into the 100's. With recent moves away from CPM and CPC advertising to a Cost Per Period model, publishers have been able to sell advertising directly to advertisers without spending large amounts of time and resources on tracking the advertisements and reporting numbers.
For Sale by Publisher was launched in the summer of 2007, by 2 website publishers looking to improve their direct ad sales revenues. We decided to create a venue for connecting publishers and advertisers, for the benefit of both parties. Simplifying the process of Direct Ad sales, and reducing costs, for both the publishers and advertisers. For Sale by Publisher was written for the Direct Ad sales community, and we would like your help in making it even better.
